From the hallowed halls of Goldman Sachs to the co-founding of companies like Sports Food Nutrition in 2012 and Weekday Warriors in 2016, establishing Flag First Capital in 2017, to him assuming the role of Investor and Hedera SPV General Partner at Hedera Hashgraph in 2020, Alex works with the best and gets it done.

His most recent journey in 2021 is actually the way we met, Alex  is the founding CEO of Nillion!

Nillion is an avant-garde venture, changing the landscape of internet infrastructure by focusing on private storage, computation, and decentralization of data!

Today's episode features a titan of industry. Co-Founder and CEO of Monad Labs, Keone Hon is a builder in everyone sense of the word. If you're interested in how to build in the world of web3, the process a man takes to greatness, and learning more about what it takes to make things happen this is the episode for you

For the folks who don't know Monad, they are building a decentralized, Layer 1 smart contract platform designed to enhance the performance of Ethereum by implementing parallelized execution and superscalar pipelining within the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

Their aim is to scale Ethereum's capabilities by a factor of 1000x, and offer a significant increase in transaction throughput with 10,000 transactions per second and a block time of just one second.

Myself and the Movement Labs are extremely excited about people who are attempting to solve for inefficiencies as we see this is the path to decentralized mass adoption, so shout out to the incredible developers at Monad for working on this and releasing their docs last month and at the time of recording which you can view here! https://docs.monad.xyz/

Today I am joined by the one and only Jenny Q. Ta, a 3x founder veteran of Wall Street, self-made millionaire, and seasoned entrepreneur with three highly successful early ventures to her credit. As founder and CEO of Titan Securities, a full-service broker-dealer and investment banking firm, Ms. Ta built a company that was profitable to be acquired in 2005. Prior to that venture, Jenny had filled the role of founder, CEO, and driving force behind Vantage Investments, another full-service broker-dealer and investment banking firm that she started while still in her early twenties and quickly grew to a-third-of-a-billion dollars in assets.

 

Jenny is also a published author, whose book, Wall Street Cinderella, details her escape from Vietnam during the war and traces her path to success from welfare to Wall Street. The book serves as a helpful road map for women who are determined to pursue a successful career in business.
