Today's episode features a titan of industry. Co-Founder and CEO of Monad Labs, Keone Hon is a builder in everyone sense of the word. For the folks who don't know Monad, they are building a decentralized, Layer 1 smart contract platform designed to enhance the performance of Ethereum by implementing parallelized execution and superscalar pipelining within the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

Their aim is to scale Ethereum's capabilities by a factor of 1000x, and offer a significant increase in transaction throughput with 10,000 transactions per second and a block time of just one second.
